Processing E-4 and film in London

Hi,

Argentum in Harley Street London used to process the old infrared
film. I believe they did it because of the use by dermatologists and
other medics. You might try your local hospital's photographic
department and see if they know of anyone.

Good UK stockists for infrared are Jessops in New Oxford Street and
Joe's Basement in Wardour Street or Tottenham Court Road .. all
central London.

As for x-rays, the Royal Photographic Society recently undertook a
survey and came to the 'standard' conclusion: don't put it in the
hold and most hand-baggage x-rays don't have a noticeable effect
below 800 ISO (not 3200 which is interesting). Infrared is affected
like other film of similar 'speed'. So no problem there. I've never
had any base fog from x-rays.
