I think that that is because of the polarizer (also, it "loks" darker because
you are increasing the light loss through the addition of the yellow filter).
I use a #25 and polarizer all the time, but the addition of a yellow filter
will not remove any more of the red component. As previously stated, I've not
seen any resulting difference between the #25 and #29 filters.
