RE: Canon Eos Cameras?

Hi,
I use an older EOS 650 for my infra-red work. As to whether your A2 will
fog, there is only one way to tell - shoot a test roll. I have used an A2,
with serious fogging about 1/3 of the way into the image, but there are
several people I know of who get fogging only in the sprocket area.
Depending on how much it would cost to fix your K1000, I would look into
picking up one of the older EOS cameras which don't use the IR advance.
