George said it best. My photographs are meant to detect biomass and
nitrogen content from two different heights: 10 feet above the plot and then
aerially (about 1000 feet above plot). The color distinction is even more
important in an aerial image when trying to analyze a small area such as a
plot in a field. Esp. when adjacent plots have different Nitrogen
treatments.

Maybe with crops but not with trees. We use 70mm CIR extensively this time
of the year and the AR-5 process is absolutely superior to E-6 in it's
ability to distinguish between the various types of hardwood trees that grow
throughout Northern Michigan.
