For 35mm you could try the FED (russian rangefinder with good optics,
similar style to a Leica) The Konica S series of rangefinders have
excellent lenses - will have to check mine to see if there is a manual
setting on it as it does take hard to find mercury batteries and has either
shutter or aperture priority settings. Perhaps someone will remind me...
There are also plenty of folders (bellows cameras) out there for 35mm which
have good quality coated lenses. Voigtlander and Zeiss spring to mind....
unfortunately these tend to be a bit more expensive as collectors have
started to find them attractive...
Am sure you will not be surprised to learn that there is mention of this in
the Infrared FAQ, however I will update the "Which Cameras" section with
the above information and any other suggestions from peops.
