Larry,
There is a whole load of information in - you guessed it - the Infrared FAQ
(URL in sig. file).
Section 12 "Which Infrared Filters" includes an excellent article
contributed by list member Michel Wurtz on use of various filters with EIR
using a set of photographs as an illustration of the filter effects.
Start by rating the film at ASA200. Expose through a Wratten 12 Filter
(orange/yellow) which Kodak recommend as an initial calibration point.
