RE: 4X5 infra-red photography

I use Toyo view darkslides here at work. Mainly they have 7 dot's, some have
5 and the rest have none (I think these are quite old).
To date the only reason why I have had any form of fogging on the film has
been from the tape at the bottom of the holders. After a while the cloth
tape becomes very brittle and cracks form. These do fog IR film but it's
not really noticeable on other films. The solution I use is Black Gaffer
Tape (Duct tape in the States I believe) this seams to hold them are much
longer and I have not had a problem with IR leakage with one's repaired in
this manner.

I'm experienced with infra-red and 35mm photography, but
recently I've
tried it with 4X5 and the Kodak film. I'm having problems
with film
fogging that I've narrowed down to the film holders. The
Toyo film
holders fog the film even though Toyo (via their website
told me it
should be OK). I've had mixed results with the old
Grafmatic. It seems
that it leaks through the seals. Sometimes I get a good
negative
sometimes not. So my question is Do you know of a film
holder that is
guaranteed not to leak infra-red? I greatly appreciate any
leads you can
give me. Thanks

I play the harmonica. The only way I can play is
if I get my car going really fast, and stick it
out the window. I've been arrested three times
for practicing.
I put a new engine in my car, but forgot to take
the old one out. Now my car goes 500 miles per
hour. The harmonica sounds *amazing*.
