Infrared vision with Sony camcorder

Dear list:

I' m really interested to take some pictures with Sony camcorder's super
nightshot. I like some effects with this vision (movements effects).
The model is DCR-TRV 125 E (european version).
I'd like to stop the movement, and plotter(?), later.
Somebody knows if is possible? Instructions manual says is possible to
conect camcorder to PC with a iLink lead. That conect to paralell port?
serial port?. Is necessary some especial hardware and software as well as
Photoshop? Please, apologize my english.
