It depends.  My sony also have a special "photo mode" wich trade 5 seconds
of video for one frame of good resolution photo (I think it's 720x480). For
photo, I think even a p90 would be ok, since it's nearly no data compared to
a video.

So if you have a photo mode, and you only do photo editing, it would surely
be more than enough!
