Kathleen: What I do is convert to duotone, then RGB and do a profile-to
profile conversion to the profile for the particular paper.  Then print with
RGB space, no color correction selected.  I have a sepia duotone I like for
IR.  Good results from using Arches hotpress 140# paper and Epson
heavyweight matte on the 1270, profiled with WiziWig.  Also, without being
too heavy-handed, I have found the Kai Power Tools gaussian tools, multiply
and lighten, work very well in enhancing IR images.  Hope this helps a
little.
