It seems that we can count Brad Pitt among the most-honorable of all
photographers: those who shoot infrared (from USA Today, 8/29/00).

Pitt shoots, scores in coffee-table book.

Add published photographer to Brad Pitt's résumé. The actor's photo essay is
featured in Greene & Greene: The Blacker House (Gibbs Smith, $49.95), a
sumptuous new coffee-table book about the Arts & Crafts movement, written by
architects Randell L. Makinson and Thomas A. Heinz. Pitt is credited on the
cover, along with the authors. (Makinson is Pitt's architect.) Pitt, a
long-time enthusiast of the early 20th century architectural style
popularized by brothers Charles Sumner Greene and Henry Mather Greene and
Frank Lloyd Wright, shot 21 black-and-white photos of the Pasadena, Calif.,
house following its extensive five-year restoration. The chapter, called
"Through the Lens of Brad Pitt," features moody interior and exterior images
of the Blacker House, shot on infrared film that blackens skies and turns
foliage white.
