Steve, I believe that the first time you asked about the problem I suggested you go
to a hobby shop and get some of the black adhesive backed vinyl that modelers use
for decorating their planes, cars, etc. I believe it is quite a bit more durable
than the 120 backing paper and is easy to use. I got this tip form someone else on
the list last year but I have forgotten the source also. I used it on a plate that
had huge holes and it solved the problem.
