RB pressure plate results with 70mm IR

I use a Mamiya RB67 to shoot 70mm IR Aerographic film. A few weeks back I asked
the list for advice on covering the holes on the pressure plate; the suggestion
I received (and thanks for it, though I've forgotten the name of the person who
helped me out) was to cover the plate with backing paper from 120 film.
I tried that, using double-sided tape to secure the paper. It seems to work
fine: no scratching of the film, and no noticeable pressure plate marks on the
negatives. After about six rolls, the paper is now beginning to look a bit worn
and I should probably replace it. If anyone has a more durable, permanent
solution for the RB, I'd be very interested in hearing about it. Having seen all
of the wear on the paper, I'd be a bit nervous working outdoors, where there is
more dust and dirt in the air.
I have an exhibition of infrared portraits in the gallery of the local pro photo
lab; they scanned a few images (taken before I covered the pressure plate) for
their online gallery at
www.bayphoto.com/gallery/gal_current.html
In the second of the three images, you should see the pressure plate marks. In
this particular image I don't find the marks to be terribly distracting,
although they certainly don't improve it. I'll be curious to see if anyone
mentions them in the comments book.
