Advice/bio

Hello all,

I'm a student photographer who has been happily shooting pictures with her
K1000 until she heard that she may not be able to use infrared with
it.  Since I'd rather not tempt fate, and since I wanted a new camera to
bring me into the 21st century anyway, I started to look for a new 35mm
camera.  I think I have it narrowed down to either a Nikon F100 or an
N90S, but its still pretty up in the air.  If anyone has any
warnings/praises about the two mentioned cameras, or has any other advice
for me, please let me know.

OK, now my bio:

- Name: Jessie Harris

- Profession/Study: student/web developer

- Country: USA

- Personal history of photography: began taking photography classes in
high school.  When I started staying in the darkroom during my lunches, I
figured I thought photography would be worth further exploration.

- Preferred subjects: landscapes, collages of everything, very grainy
abstract portraits

- Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):  whatever i can get my
hands on

- Format (35mm/medium format/large format): mostly 35mm although i
recently used 4x5 kodalith (just enlarging 35mm onto it) and absolutely
_loved_ working with it.

- Other hobbies: learning to play guitar, working on websites (if anyone
wants some help with that let me know!)...that's about it...working full
time and school doesn't allow for much free time
