Wow, going from a Pentax K1000 to a Nikon N90S or F-100 is surely going to
bring on culture shock! As mentioned here, there are plenty of cheap fixes
to ghet your pentax to work with Kodak HIE film. This big question is: "Do
you want a new camera?" If you have the money, why not? If you have a lot of
Pentax lenses, you may want to stay in that line. I think the old K-mount
lenses will fit the new autofocus bodies. If you are going to go with Nikon,
then by all means get a new N90s before they're all gone. It's cheaper than
the F-100 and does not have the silly features.
