IR filters from Edmund Scientific

Has anyone ordered any IR filters from Edmund
Scientific?  They profess to be optical grade and the
price looks pretty good as well.  They list a 4 x 5
plastic filter (thick like a cokin) for $17.00.  It
also looks like transmission is from around 650nm.  I
could be reading this catalog all wrong but...

Any feedback would be great.  I thought I might order
one anyways for the heck of it.  Besides, they sell
fresnell lenses (anybody for setting the pavement on
fire?)
