Chris,
Before there is a stormy response to your EMail, you may want to have
a look at the Infrared FAQ (URL in sig. file) which has a section on
this very subject :-)
We discussed this issue to death in the run up to Kodak discontinuing the film.
The fault in the film was a manufacturing problem rather than a
chemical processing problem. Kodak decided to chop the film rather
than continue to distribute a non-profit making film which had been
subject to criticism from users.
