I can see how four D cells would be a problem.  However, my MF viewer
has two D cells so it weighs around the same as my RB.  I actually like
the heft of the RB and my MF viewer.  Makes them feel substantial :->
Several people have commented that both viewers have a feel of quality,
which they partly attributed to weight (really density, I think).
