Nice design on the viewer. Using binoc lenses is a great idea. It's
difficult to classify this format. Medium width, large height, large
camera. The card in the picture looks almost square. Was there any
cropping on the sides? I love the look of 4x5 transparencies. The cost
can be a bit pricey, (usually about $20 for a box of 10) but I look for
just out of date film for about a dollar a shot. Plus $1.75 each for the
lab to develop. I have an old Speed Graphic with a trashed bellows which
I have been planning to turn into a stereo camera, using a divided
sliding box-in-box with 2 lenses. I could focus on the ground glass,
then mark the boxes for focusing. I don't have a darkroom yet, but it
would be easy to set up for contact prints. I could do them in the bath
tub. :-)
