[MF3D.FORUM:81] New viewer for formerly least talked about format

Glad there has been interest in this system.
First of all, I don't have any pictures of the camera, but will ask Darcy
for some as well as stereo shots of the viewer.
The sliding lens board moves left and right across the front. Full right,
cock the shutter and click, full left for the second. No transposing
required, a simple contact print with no mount needed, although a cardboard
mount is nice. Right now Darcy is using the two enlarger lenses without a
shutter, as when fully stopped down an exposure of 1-3 seconds allows using
a black card to hand expose the images. I expect he will copy my stereo
Thorton Pickard shutter I use on my 5x7 stereo Korona, which I made by
modifying a single shutter for stereo use. The images are full 4x5 fomat,
with each image slighly under 2 1/2" x 4". He also has two septums made
from old slides from film holders, which slide into grooves on the camera
back.
I will post any new pictures in the New Year. BTW, have a good one guys
(there's still 3 1/2 hours left here of 1999). May this list and interest
in stereo last at least to the 4th millenium!
Sam
