It would seem to be well less than 1%. Paul calculated it at .27% which is
surely in the ballpark.

In order to see what this looks like I pulled out my micrometer and opened
the jaws .15mm. This is an exceedingly small amount. I'm sure that my
Yashicamats (of which I compared 5 to get the 2 that I now use) have a
larger discrepancy than this.

I think that this is the case with all the lenses that I know of. I don't
think it's possible to make a lens which is as sharp in the corners as it is
in the center. Everything I've read about these lenses though suggests that
they are as aharp as anything made.

My guess is that they will be just fine. However, you may want to send some
samples to people whose opinions you respect to see what they think.
