Yes. But I was thinking of M > 100 (for SEM usually
over 1000) so the 1 can be dropped.
I have been shooting a lot of tabletops and closeups
with 35mm equipment to realize the practical limitations
imposed by this overlap issue. If the subject does not
have sufficient depth (near and far points close together)
application of the maximum OFD formulas leads to wide
stereo bases which create a problem in terms of overlap.
I think this was part of Bill's problem as Paul suggested.
