In case there was any confusion among the innocent bystanders,
thoughtful discussion is, was, and always will be welcome.
Public display of private wars is quite unwelcome.  The
above was intended to prevent a spark from turning into a
raging inferno, not to squelch on-topic comments.

I suspect, however, that most of us are already burned out
on the stereo base topic.
