Is that 65mm spacing of the apertures, so that the infinity
spacing of the images would be almost 68mm? What is the
lens spacing on your viewer?
It appears the width is greater than the height. True?
Sputnik shooters could not use this mount because their
images are only 55mm wide. There would be no way to set
the window, and the image borders might show through the
mount apertures.

How are the chips held in place? By squeezing the channels
closed? Can vertical cropping be controlled, or do you
just take what you get when you slide the chips into the
channels?

No, where did you get the picture??
I could have a slide-in cardboard MF stereo mount made,
and was considering doing so. But the issue of vertical
cropping was a stumbling block for me. I'm not sure how
well the mount would go over without the ability to set
the vertical cropping.
