I did some preliminary test images using Ort25 film for positives from B&W
negs. My conclusions were as follows:

1. Oooooooh
2. Aaahhhhhh
3. Wowww
4. Yahzoo

To be more specific, it performed much better than standard litho film.
Less grain, more latitude, more control. The developer they recommended was
a bust for this type of use as it produced flat muddy images. The best
developer was standard paper developer. I found it easy to control contrast
by changing the exposure and development times. For a high contrast neg I
would expose more and develop less. I even managed to rescue an older neg
that was too contrasty to convert before.

I did find that it seemed to be a little darker after the positives dried,
so you have to allow for that when processing and exposing. It appears that
the images are not as sharp, but I have to confirm that on my second group
of tests. For sure I'll have some results for the next folio (wherever that
is!?!). I'm also going to try toning.
