Shooting with SLR's butt to but creates several problems ,I have been there.
With focalplane shutters , different parts of the image are being exposed
at a different time whether vrticle or hoizontal which would be redily
apparent in action photos but the main problem is th 5 perf size plus using
24mm lenses { I have done it} makes things less ortho than even 35mm lenses
but personally this is not a problem for me. I am glad you pointed out my
error. The bad words in photography are " can't be done, never, allways ,
etc. ". Plus, the cameras should have tripod socket holes centered below
the lens not off center. Don
