Hi Guys,

I survived my hike, although it did have it's share of difficulties. I
pulled a muscle escending Big Beehive, damned heavy camera and tripod I bet!

While trying to find the best angle to shoot Lower Consolation Lake, I
concluded that the best composition was from a rock in the middle of a wide
creek that flowed from it. So off went my boots and in I went. Being
Glacier fed with snow all around, it goes without saying that the water was
freezing cold!

While framing my shot out there, a hiker passed by on the shore. "What kind
of camera is that?", he asked. When I told him it was a medium format
stereo camera, he then took of his own boots to wade over to my little rock
island. He was from Chile (Chilly as well from the water) and didn't want
to pass up an opportunity to see such a camera. How's that for drawing power!

Looks like I'll have some more shots for the folio as I already had two
rolls processed. I've even got a self portrait for this round!
