In addition to the stores you mention, I've been very happy with Abbey Camera
(Philadelphia, PA www.abbeycamera.com). They frequently have the best price
and I've always gotten very good service. I'm currently peeved at Calumet
since they managed to scramble the address on my last order (transposing
digits in the zip code, sending it to the wrong city) and weren't
particularly helpful in tracking it down. I know the address was typed
correctly on my end as their confirming email was right, but somewhere
between order and shipping departments it got corrupted - apparently
re-entered by hand carelessly. Mistakes happen, but getting the address
right should be an extremely high priority for a mail-order business and
correcting any errors should be next.

The Visual Plus does eat batteries (a 9V doesn't have much Ah capacity), so I
generally use mine with the AC adapter.
