The Cullman "Magic" tripod? This folds to a "flat" 13.5 x 6 x 1.5" and weighs
3 lbs.
I also recall seeing an announcement in Shutterbug for some exotic Italian
tripod that was made of flat sections, but this struck me as more of a
"designer"-pod than practical tool.
