I was about to post something about this as well - I 
bought a variety of sizes of adhesive-backed foam from Fargo
when they came to one of the Denver camera swap meets. I used
the smallest size (it was a sample pack of about 8x10" pieces
in 5 different thicknesses, as I recall) which I think was 1/16".

Cut very thin with an Xacto knife, it worked like a champ
on my Spud light leaks. Much better than the foam "weatherstrip"
type stuff I bought from a hardware store and cut down. The
adhesive on that was worse, and the doors tend to stick shut.

Not so with the Fargo foam; I was really happy with that and
would use it again!
