Yours too?  How did it break?  On mine the rod on the adjustable tip
no longer retracts all the way.  I never fiddled with the adjustment,
and even nowthe full range of the adjustment is not enough to retract
the tip.  Mine was fairly new (a few months, less than a year old)
when it died.
