I measured my shutter speeds on my lunch
hour. 1/500 is now a touch faster than 1/125
so I lost about 2 stops due to the extra mass. But
it should be still fine since I can shoot 100
speed film at about f16 on a sunny day. Only
a problem if I ever wanted to shoot wide open
in bright light, but that's what ND filters
are for :)

I thinks so too.
I got some pretty nice shots of Lake Louise and
Moraine Lake (in the Alberta Rockies) on our
vacation with the Sputnik. I can only think how
much better they'd be if I had a decent viewfinder
and been able to frame the shots better. 1/2 :)
