Further to my previous Email. Here is a PCX file attacvhment 
regarding pyro that may be of interest.
Regarding my Daguerrotype.
I aquired for my collection, a rather decrepid Daguerre camera from 
1851 and having restored it as well as I could, decided that it was 
high time that photography took a giant step back. I decided to 
make a Daguerrotype!!!!.
A copper plate was obtained and silver plated (professionally) and 
highly polished.
So far, so good. We took our lives into our hands when it came to 
sensitizing the plate and developing it because it required us to 
heat mercury over a candle with the plate suspended above it to 
catch the fumes.
The Health & Safety Executive would have gone mad at the sight.
It did work, though and as far as I know, one of my children still 
has it.
