There are at least three kinds of Lubitels. In order of manufacture AFAIK:

A. The Lubitel 2. Made of bakelite. Wierd double door latch. Think of it
as a non-stereo Sputnik. Wire strap loops.

B. The Lubitel 166. Made of styrene plastic. No interal baffles. Odd
center door latch. (Actually, I have seen two different kinds of latches.)

C. The Lubitel 166U. These are the ones that were available from
Freestyle. They have internal baffles. They also have a removable mask
for shooting 4.5x6. The red window in back switches from 12 exposures to
16 exposures. Otherwise, identical to the Lubitel 166.

All three use the same lenses, as far as I can tell. They are at least the
same on the outside. The shutters also appear to be the same design.
