Alumilite is an over priced urethane A/B resin thats key advantage is that
it comes in small bottles. Urethane resins are carcinogens in the unmixed
state.

The mold making rubber-- RTV or room temperature vulcanizing-- is
expensive stuff, comes in a huge number of formulations, and will allow
one to make a mold of almost anything. It can also be brushed on the
object to be cast and built up.

I've used RTV and urethanes to do short production runs of parts, but I
suggest anyone wanting to play with this stuff read the official safety
data sheets first. Might change your mind.
