AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE ! !.
Get an external timer, they are quite cheap. I tried it with a Lubital 
(which is very similar in construction) and had to glue the screws 
back in because the threads went. I did have a stuck timer on a 
Zenith and found that with a little GENTLE persuasion it could be 
assisted to complete it's journey. After one or two <treatments> 
like that, it seemed to right itself. Please note that I am not offering 
that as a suggestion.
