This might be true for some, but let me offer this opinion (an
opinion meant to be a positive refection on us all):

I think we, as a select group of 3D-MF'ers, are a group of
individuals that are a cut above average.

Meaning, that not only are we more dedicated to the hobby of
stereo photography, but also more dedicated to our other life
obligations then most of the general population. I would suspect
that virtually every one of us work over 45-50 hours a week at
our primary job and have either a secondary job or activity that
consumes an additional 15-20+ hours per week.

For example, Joel and Alan (just to name two) have side
businesses (coincidentally related to stereo photography), and I
spend my off job time (16-20 hours/week) as an assistant curator
at a private photography museum. Then there is Sam, and others,
constantly creating new cameras for MF stereo.

I would also venture to speculate that each member of our group
is a dedicated family person and makes sure that quality time is
spent in family activities. This is clearly evident in the number
of children photographs that crop up in the folios and on
personal web sites.

So, given the fact that we (forgive me for being all inclusive)
are trying to put 26 hours into a day and take good pictures and,
when the folio arrives, truly want to carefully examine, comment
and learn from the slides, it is often suprising to me that the
folio gets around as quickly as it does.

The above was written, and intended, as a positive reflection on
our small group. Folio delays don't bother me, as I know (or
suspect) that the delay is not a reflection of time mismanagement
by the viewer, but rather of time consumption by life's
obligations.
