Too much turkey and too much foootball.

If the lens is the uncoated kind, have you tried a mixture of
water, vinegar and hydrogen peroxide (1/3 parts each) to remove
the fungus?

I've done some 5x7 stereo and it works pretty good.

A simple approach that I've used is to cut three pieces of matte
board, full height, but 1/2 the distance of the typical bellows
draw. Mount two together at the front standard, the third on the
rear standard so that it moves in-between the front two like a
sandwich.
If you go the cloth route, in the old days, they would make it
into a folding accordion septum. To keep it centered, there would
be one or two rubber bands wrapped front-to-back around the
septum.

Now for my stereo progress:
A week and a half ago I received and assembled an Alan Lewis'
MF slide viewer kit. This is a marvel of ingenuity and genus. The
problem is that now I can see how fuzzy my backgrounds are from
my Isolette MF stereo camera. I guess I'll have to re-check their
infinity focus again.
I'm about 1/2 way done with a new hybrid MF stereo camera
construction product. I don't want to say too much about it yet
'cause I might still screw it up, in which case it will become
firewood. But to give you all a hint, it will be a marriage of
parts from a Kodak 3A Box Brownie (c1918), an Agfa Isolette I
(c1950), and a Polaroid Model 95a (c1960). That's all I'll say
for now.
Hmmm, I wonder if there are any more turkey leftovers.....
