4X5 dupe film is a very practical option. Depending on how you crop,
it is at least possible to get two sets of MF stereo pairs on a single
sheet. Coming up with a special film holder mask shouldn't be too
hard.
In camera duping works for still life shots, but perhaps only if
your camera is fine tuned enough to have a perfectly exposed image. I
hate to admit it, but I still lose far too many shots from erratic
shutters,bad focus and light leaks.
Perhaps the market may be in duping MF stereo slides instead of
selling them!
