Is monoscopic correct?

 Just working on the writeup for my new
project.  I'm using the term stereoscopic
(images) rather than 3D to avoid all the
confusion that can cause.

  Is monoscopic the correct opposite?
Saying 2D doesn't seem right and flat
is kind of derogitory.
