Just remember that no matter how "square" your two cameras 
they will always have the problem with the chips. The only 
ways to avoid this are to toe-in the cameras or off-set the 
film gates in relation to the lenses (the way dedicated stereo 
cameras do).

One way people keep track who use use two seperate cameras is 
to mark one LEFT and one RIGHT and always use them in that 
configuration and always label your film the same. If you are 
using a single camera get in the habit of always shifting in 
the same direction (right first then shift to left or left 
first and then shift to right).
