That actually seems extraordinarily low for what appears
to be a professional grade lenticular camera.  It certainly
compares quite favorably to the cost of the Gilde (stereo,
not lenticular), for example!

Posts on photo-3d have mentioned high dollar professional lenticular
cameras, such as 5 and 7 lens versions from Image Tech (guessed to
cost about $5,000). See

There was also a professional lenticular camera offered for lease at
$25,000 per year.  See

For someone with a few dollars to spend, the Seagull five lens
camera could be fun to play with for stereo.  By blocking two
lenses at a time you could double the number of pictures per
roll.
