Well, I did hack the camera, and I made some guesses
at placement of the apertures.  They were bad guesses.
 I am hoping to make a better go of it in the next
month or 2.  I have seen some very sharp pinhole
pictures, but yes you do have to do long exposures. 
It is good for shots that don't use people, and you
will need to use a tripod.
