I've read reports of a "cheesecake" folio that got permanently
lost attempting to cross the border.

I for one certainly don't want to lose the participation of
excellent stereo photographers like Sam, Greg, and Dale. BTW,
Sam, how badly did customs ding your for having the loaner
viewer in the box?
Bob Clark had volunteered to handle the cross-border shipping,
saying he was familiar with doing it from participating in Greg's
folio. Presumably he sent it the same way he usually sends the
folio. As the biggest difference between the expo package and
the folio package is the inclusion of the loaner viewer, that
could be the reason for the delay.
I do have a favor to ask of the next few folks on the list. I
have updated the expo status page at:
http://www.rmm3d.com/funlearn/mf3dexpo2000status.html As shown
there, Mike Davis did a nice job of getting us ahead of schedule
at the start, and we saved some time when Linda hand-delivered
the expo to Bob Clark. After this long cross-border delay, we
could use some quick-eyed folks who can pass the expo along in
less than the allotted 1 week *maximum* time frame, to try to
make up some lost time.
Remember to send e-mail to mfexpo@xxxxxxxxx when you receive
and send the expo package.
