Why the irony Sam? Are you jealous?

And I find it strange that the NATIONAL Stereoscopic Association
and the Stereoscopic Society of AMERICA will allow Canadian members
to participate in the US folios.

To answer Sam's question, there is a history behind the NSA-SSA
connection. SSA used to be an independent organization but was
suffering a slow death in the early 1970s. So they hooked with NSA
to survive. The deal is that SSA members will have to join NSA
and NSA promotes SSA activities through Stereo World and other
venues. Without NSA there might have not been SSA today.
I personally heard about SSA through my NSA membership.

I still find it strange that Canadian members have the privilege
to be treated as equivalent to US members even though it
costs more time and money and increased risks to move the
folios over country boundaries. It is time that Canada seeks its
own stereoscopic independence.
