Actually what Bill has is the MF 3D Expo 2000. To my knowledge,
Bill has not yet joined a folio. Bill (and future recipients)
please remember to e-mail mfexpo@xxxxxxxxx with your expo
receiving and shipping dates.
For those who are wondering about the differences between "Expo"
and "folio," the expo is a one-time postal circuit. It started
with contributors mailing slides to the organizer, who then sent
it on its way to the participants (one at a time, by mail, with
some participants being "view only," other being both contributors
and viewers). When the Expo returns to me, I will mail all the
loaned slides back to their makers.
A folio circulates in an "infinite loop." Contributions are required
to participate in a folio. Each time the folio passes your way, you
remove your prior loaned images, and insert new ones.
An Expo is more "just for fun" while a folio is both for fun and
for mutual support/encouragement/tutoring/mentoring. A feedback
system for praise and constructive criticism is utilized for folio
images.
