Most people find 2mm a bit conservative for 6x6. The guideline
is based on viewer FL/30. For an 80mm viewer lens, that would be
80/30 ==> 2.67mm. (1.2mm actually understates this guideline for
most Realist format viewers.)

As in an alignment gauge? As part of the RMM ownership change, I
received from Joel a file for printing a gauge on a computer printer.
I have some duplicated on overhead transparency film, and include
them for free on request with mount orders. I always figured that
everyone into MF stereo and using Joel's mounts before the RMM
ownership change already had at least one of these.
