My rule of thumb for MF projection is 5 percent of chip width...so 2.5
or 2.6mm is about right.  I project superimposed mount openings, putting
the window at the screen.  Therefore on a 10 foot square screen a 2.5mm
deviation on the chips creates a 6 inch deviation on the screen. 
Anything much larger than that creates viewing problems for folks in the
front rows...
