Bought a can of Anti-Newton Ring Spray (NO - I'm not kidding)
BTW: not cheap from what I can recall!
Manufacturer: Polycrom Screens (Italian )
Product: LS41 antinewton spray 200ml can
Bottom of front label says: A-N Ring Spray is a product specially
designed for color transparencies to be mounted on SCANNER CYLINDERS.
The directions call for spraying the side of the trans. that is in
contact with drum surface. (have a big problem with spraying MY film
or anybody elses for that matter.)
What I did was to spray the surface of the flatbed (allow MIST to coat
the glass, don't spray directly to the glass)
This product is designed to leave micro-beads of this product on the
glass which keeps the two GLOSSY surfaces from touching & forming NR's.
