Increasing the vertical field of view

Hi all
I have a Round shot 35/35 360 camera and I want to increase the vertical
field of view (in order to increase the information we get on an indoor
image for QTVR production). The field of view is quoted at 38° for the 35
mm lens. Does anyone know if a new lens can be fitted or an additional
lens added to change the view that the camera sees? The original idea we
had was to add Plano-cylindrical lens to front of the camera- but my lens
physics is not great so I am unsure if this will work.
Any Ideas???
Thanks in advance
Wayne
